Turkey lettuce wraps


  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup diced water chestnuts
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Butter lettuce leaves


  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic, chopped onion and red bell pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  2. Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar and sriracha sauce. Pour the mixture over the cooked turkey and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  4. Add diced water chestnuts to the skillet and stir to combine.
  5. To serve, spoon the turkey mixture onto butter lettuce leaves, wrap and enjoy!
